Have you been missing Wesley Snipes on the big screen? Well, it appears he will be returning with another role as the bad guy and many people are excited about it.
Wesley Snipes announced on Tuesday that he will be portraying the villain in the upcoming indie heist thriller, “Payline”. Snipes has not played a villain since he starred in 1993’s “Demolition Man” opposite Sylvester Stallone.
As for “Payline,” expect it to give you an “Ocean’s 11” feel with a bit of “Free Fire.” It centers around a small town casino that finds itself in the middle of violent turf war when two groups of criminals attempt to rob it on the same night.
Wesley Snipes and Alexander Ferguson will serve as executive producers while Allan Unga, Richard Switzer and Jason Cherubini will also serve as producers. You can expect to see more of Wesley Snipes when “Dolemite Is My Name” and the RZA-directed thriller “Cut Throat City” premiere.
